Is There a Train from Fort Collins to Denver Airport?

No, there isn’t a train. You will have to take a tram ride for the final leg of your journey, but not a train. Taking one bus, followed by a tram, will get you to the airport in two hours and 30 minutes, approximately.

To catch your first bus, namely the North bus, provided by the Colorado Department of Transportation, head to the Downtown Transit Center, in norther Fort Collins. Once there, purchase your ticket, before heading into the bus to sit down.

You’ll arrive in Denver after 1 hour 30 minutes, from where you will need to catch an additional tram ride on the A Line to the Airport. This will require another ticket, which can be purchased from one of the kiosks available at the station.

The final leg of the trip will take around 35 minutes.

Getting a Bus from Fort Collins to Denver Airport

Taking a bus, similarly to the tram ride mentioned above, will also require a change, thus is not direct. The duration of the trip is slightly less, although only by a few minutes, although by taking the bus, you won’t have to go into downtown Denver.

The first bus to catch is the same as above, the North bus, which can be caught at the Downtown Transit Center. Tickets are purchased there. You will need to alight at the bus at the Harmony Transfer Center, 20 minutes into your ride. Connect with the Groome Transportation Northern Line, which will take you directly to the US airport. You can purchase your tickets from the driver, which will cost around $15-20.
